Great gym Coach Stephan was awesome he is very passionate with combat sports and always willing to teach.
Our experience at this boxing gym has been completely different from what’s described here by the poster with a 1 star review. My boys train under coach Stephen, and have for 3 years. We have consistently found him to be respectful, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in the development of his athletes. Boxing gyms often have a direct, no-nonsense communication style, especially when discussing training background and experience. In our experience, those questions come from a place of understanding an athlete’s level of skill for safety, and their goals, not disrespect. This is exactly who Coach Stephen is direct, no-nonsense and highly skilled in his ability to pass along his knowledge to his students. This gym has provided a positive, disciplined, and supportive environment for our children and we are grateful for the coaching and mentorship offered here. I would encourage people to visit, observe a class, and form their own opinion.
Absolutely amazing gym with such an outstanding coach. Coach Steven provides all of his students with skills better than any other coach I’ve met has. He takes the time to go to each and every one of his students and provide them with the amount of support they need for their level. Amazing gym, I certainly reccomend signing up.
My friend and I just went to, and quickly exited this boxing gym. As soon as we stepped foot in the door the owner came and began talking down to us. He asked us where we previously trained, who our coaches were, and our age with an incredibly condescending tone, referring to our previous gym with little respect. And with just those few questions, and his mocking replies, we collected our things and left. To whoever reads this review, please rethink your decision to attend this gym and find one of the many gyms in the area that will treat you with respect. If a zero star ever existed, it belongs to this coach.
The Dragon's Den has been my gym for almost 8 years now, I still remember my first interview with Coach Lapre what feels like forever ago and how quickly I was made to feel at home in his classes. Humility, Discipline, Self confidence and a Warrior's Spirit can all be found and earned through sweat, hard work and determination. I am incredibly proud of the lessons, friends and mentors I have found here on the matts of the Dragon's Den. I would wholeheartedly recommend the life changing experience to anyone looking to learn from a wise and caring Sensei.
