My son and daughter have been attending Active Martial Arts for a few months, and they both really enjoy the classes. The warm-ups and exercises are a great way to keep them active and help them build strength and confidence. I’ve seen great progress, especially with my daughter. She couldn’t do push-ups before, but now she can do at least five with good form. We’re very happy with the program and would recommend it to other families.
I spent a ton of time looking for the right martial arts gym for my son—there are so many options, and I didn’t want to settle. After just one visit to Active Martial Arts, I can already tell this place stands out. The coaching was immediately impressive—professional, focused, and great with kids. What really mattered to me was how they treated my son. They were patient, welcoming, and made him feel comfortable right away, which isn’t something every gym gets right. The energy is positive, the instructors clearly care, and it feels like a place where kids can build real confidence along with their skills. Really glad I found this spot for him—looking forward to coming back.
Our family has been attending Active Martial Arts for the past 7 yrs and impressed with the life skills they focus on here combined with Martial Arts. They are creating respectful, positive environment for these kids. They gain confidence in themselves and positive reinforcement along with making amazing friends here. We attended a birthday party here today and it was fantastic. My daughter was very shy when we first arrived but the employee who greeted us did a great job trying to get her out of her shell. I really appreciate the gentle way he handled that. The other employee who ran the party out on the mat was also great! The kids all seemed to like him and you can tell they were all having a blast. It was nice being at a party where every kid is burning off energy. My daughter liked it so much that she asked if she could sign up for martial arts here so I’m sure we will be back!
I attended a birthday party for one of my son's friends(8 years old). The instructors did an amazing job blending martial arts with games that were fast paced and kept the attention of all the high energy boys. Their values of obedience and respect shine through with all of their interactions with every kid!! I high recommend!
