Awesome gym. Dropped in here with a buddy of mine who’s never trained while I was in town and had a great time. James was really cool and a great instructor and members were very skilled while also being safe. Highly recommend!

After trying out a few trial classes around town, I brought my daughter to Newborn—and right away, I could tell the culture was different. The atmosphere was welcoming, the instruction was focused, and it stood out immediately. We both signed up on the spot, and before long my wife joined too. What really sets Newborn apart is the individual attention the instructors give, no matter your experience level. Even with larger class sizes, they make the effort to ensure everyone is learning, improving, and feeling included.

Newborn Cascao is the best Brazillian Jiu Jitsu gym, near Downtown Spokane along side our sister gym, Infiniti Cascao in North Spokane, the best Brazillian Jiu Jitsu gym on the North side of Spokane! This school is amazing, wonderful coaches. They teach heart in class & outside of class. They push their students to acheive greatness. This sport builds confidence, discipline, every person here shows an unrenowned kindness. It feels like you are apart of a family, the coaches & peers care for your well being, & the hangouts at The Wave or pool parties, bbq's, competitions, travelling, it's all amazing & with an outstanding group of people. Thank you James & Sarah for owning this gym!

At Newborn you will find a great teacher in James Weed, he not only is knowledgeable but has created a culture of iron sharpening iron. I am incredibly thankful for the welcome we received as my family started practicing at Newborn. My boys love James and Sarah. I would highly recommend you to come check out Newborn if you have a desire to start BJJ!
