After posting their drama on Instagram, I’m no longer surprised. Unhealthy brotherhood. Instead of taking accountability, they’d rather prompt their own members to leave their own 5-star reviews, cover an honest take and invalidate. When speaking up gets you silenced for calling out a member, it creates unprofessionalism. A few members here use martial arts to project strength while enabling misogyny and manipulative behavior through dismissing. There is one member who allegedly takes advantage of women on apps, and a few others are aware yet choose to tolerate it. The victim is made to look like the problem, as the narrative gets flipped.
The team at T-Town MMA welcomed me in for a trial class and it was excellent experience. Head coach worked me into drilling and the open mat as soon as I walked in. Had some great rolls with the team who couldn't have been friendlier. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone.
I was a little nervous starting BJJ (zero experience with anything contact sports related), but this gym made it easy to stick with it. The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely care about helping everyone improve, no matter your level. I especially love the women’s only classes—they’re welcoming, supportive, and a great space to build confidence while learning different techniques. It’s made a huge difference in how comfortable I feel on the mats. The overall vibe of the gym is friendly, respectful, and it really feels like a community here. Definitely recommend checking it out if you’re thinking about starting BJJ or looking for a new place to train!
Highly recommend! I‘ve been taking kickboxing classes for a year now and I really enjoy the atmosphere at this gym. There’s a nice mix of ages, skill level, and genders. The coaches are very welcoming and helpful, especially Elliot and Nicole. They started from the very basics and gave me everything I needed to be safe and gradually grow in confidence and skill. If you’re looking for a cool place— this is it ⭐️ 🥊 ⭐️
I have been attending T-town for almost 2 years now. I have trained at many BJJ gyms before this, and this by far is my favorite gym and one I call home. The fellow practitioners at t-town are extremely friendly and accommodating. No one is a stranger there! This is a gym that is friendly enough for beginners and serious enough for competitors. And because there is a plethora of coaches of coaches and black belts the curriculum is always fresh and informative.
