This used to me my home gym (and first muay thai gym!) before I moved a couple years back. I was back in the past week and visting and figured I should write a review. This is not only a great gym for beginners who are unfamiliar with muay thai or any martial art, but also for visiting practioners. They are super communicative and prompt which made it easy for me to keep up with muay thai while on vacation, Id recommend it to anyone visting Pittsburgh. The variety of classes also keeps things really fresh and fun if you've been training a while. All the coaches are super nice, welcoming, and clear in their language, which makes training here if you're new or visiting really easy.

Fantastic people and place! Been going to SKN since last October and I love it. Marissa and Chris and the rest of the coaches are super kind, but will work you hard (in a great way)! Lots of reverence for Muay Thai traditions, but feels super Pittsburgh, too. Get involved! You won't regret it.

I've been coming here for a year now and I can't say enough positive things. The staff and coaches are great and very knowledgeable. Marissa and Chris are fantastic coaches. The community of people are great too. SKN is perfect for all levels from beginner to advance. It's become a home away from home.

While searching for a good place for Muay Thai in Pittsburgh I stumbled on skn and so happy I did! All of the staff is very friendly and welcoming, whether you are a beginner or experienced they accommodate everyone nicely. I had a little training previously but had a few years break and after a few weeks at skn it already feels like home. The gym is spacious and is always very clean. Equipment is all in excellent shape, bags of all shapes and sizes. If you’re debating if you should try it, you should. My first week was $30 for unlimited classes and they give you free gloves and hand wraps. After that I joined for unlimited classes @ $99 a month which is an awesome deal considering I go an average of 5 days a week.
