Great instructors and students. Good learning and training environment. Typical class structure is warmups, takedowns, submission, and escape, followed by positional drilling and a little bit of sparring.

I was in Madison for only a few days and came with a friend; the environment was incredibly welcoming especially as someone only able to drop in for a day. They clearly take the sport seriously, and were incredibly knowledgeable. If you are looking for a gym that is both friendly but that you can roll hard at, I'd recommend Enduro wholeheartedly!

Was in Madison for a week for work trip and messaged Brett if I could come train. He was so welcoming and his passion for the sport shows immensely. They took me as one of their own and I learned so much in the two days I trained there. If you are in Madison come train at this gym if you wanna work hard!

The Ritz family is full of great instructors. I came in for my first class ready to be intimidated and instead I found a second family. I was nervous, never having taken any sort of martial arts before starting with Enduro. My worries were quickly dissipated when Brett led me through the basics and made me feel comfortable. The Ritz's find a way to train the higher level athletes while also making sure the newer members are being instructed properly. I started because I travel for work, and wanted to know I was prepared to defend myself if needed. Whether you want to learn self-defense, hang out with an awesome group of people, or just get a great workout in- this is the place.

Awesome program with great instruction. Great for beginners because multiple instructors at each class. Also great for more advanced people since two of the Instructors are black belts. Overall, it’s great for people looking to compete, stay active, or learn how to defend themselves!
