We absolutely love Southside Combat Academy! The kids’ program has been such a blessing for our family. Our children have grown in confidence, discipline, and respect while learning real MMA skills in a fun, encouraging environment. The gym is always clean and family-friendly, and the coaches and owners genuinely care about each child. Our kids can’t wait for class every week!

My kids have been attending the Little Warriors and Young Warriors classes for years. I can't begin to say how much this has helped them in their everyday life. I'm grateful for the self defense knowledge they have gained from the awesome coaches and I'm looking forward to see them accomplish more goals with their help. The overall vibe in the gym is so positive and welcoming. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a kids class that teaches responsibility along with self defense and fun!

I do personal training with Charlotte and I would highly recommend Southside to anyone looking to be pushed physically and mentally. The facilities are great and offer a wide range of workout equipment. I’ve gained a better understanding of how to read my body and what it is capable of. The environment that is provided is extremely encouraging and positive. Couldn’t imagine being at any other gym.

Southside Combat Academy provides a safe, clean, and exciting environment for athletes of all shapes and sizes and skill. You can tell the heart and soul put into this place by the owners, Ben and Charlotte, which truly makes all the difference and sets them apart from big chain gyms. If you want to feel encouraged and cared for on an individual level- this is your gym. We have three kiddos and are very much considering putting them into their youth martial arts program because we trust the trainers and know that our kids will be in the best of hands. If you have been on the fence about starting your fitness journey, I highly recommend checking out Southside for their inclusive environment and to be apart of the wonderful community they have nurtured and created.

Ben, Char & the whole crew at Southside are truly masters of their craft. They are incredibly passionate about what they do & their aura is absolutely infectious! Genuinely going above & beyond every day to make you feel comfortable while simultaneously pushing you past your limits with each & every workout. So if you are looking to shatter your plateau, conquer your next challenge or simply try something new, Southside is definitely the gym for you!!!
