What an incredible experience!!!! Martin Academy has been my martial arts home now for 4 years. I love the variety of martial arts provided. What are you looking for: Personal/Self Defense, Boxing, Kickboxing, Grappling, Kung Fu/Trapping, Weapons Training. Super Clean Facility and a Great Family Atmosphere. It's a safe place to workout and grow in all aspects of your life.

As a recent transplant to Florida I was looking for a gym to train Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at so I did my research of the area. I am truly elated that I found Martin Academy. Sifu LaVonne, Coach Ted, Coach Bruce, and Coach Mike are all around amazing human beings. They are beyond kind, knowledgeable, encouraging, and patient (I think I've seen rocks with better motor skills than I have). Training here is truly the highpoint of my day, and I learn just as much from the instructors as I do from my fellow students. It is truly a family atmosphere and I'm extremely fortunate that I have been welcomed into it with open arms. I could not ask for a better place to train. Also Ms. Maddy might be one of the best dogs on the planet, and seeing her at the gym just makes it that much better. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

I miss going here! I randomly decided to go here a few years ago and really enjoyed my time here Sifu Martin is really cool her dog is awesome and her story is so cool! I really enjoyed the bond I created with her! If I remember right the Thai boxing instructor was josh and I trained with a Bruce also. This place is really awesome and just opened my eyes and mind and confidence in alot of regards. I would highly recommend this faculty

Owner Lavonne Martin runs one of the best martial arts schools in the country. I've had the privilege of training with her and highly recommend her establishment. Training with her has helped me improve my confidence in my ability to protect myself and helped me get into better shape.

Martin Academy is a very professional school for martial arts. I love training here! Sifu Lavonne Martin and the rest of the instructors are highly trained and respectful of their students. No matter your skill level, you will receive great coaching and attention from the instructors. The best part of the school is the family-like atmosphere. You will not regret giving Martin Academy a chance if you truly love martial arts.
