Did some drop in classes for my kids and they really like this place. This place will definitely help with growing in their jj journey. First time and everytime after the first drop in, always get a warm welcome from Dean and his helpers. The classes run smooth with the really good instructions and ample time to practice through sparring. The kids there are very respectful to each other which helps with matching newer participants' skill level so they won't get hurt. But those same kids are also tough and know when to unleash. The mat space is not too big (compared to other places), but they definitely make good use of the space (when needed) through rotations. The main thing I can see is the kids are learning, having fun, being safe, and being respectful. If you are in the area and searching for a jiu jitsu academy, I would highly recommend this place.

Rdean & and his kids at CJJF Leeward are top-notch. They are highly skilled and passionate about what they do, which is evident in their teaching style. They take the time to explain techniques thoroughly and provide individualized attention to each student. Whether you're a beginner or more advanced, they cater to all skill levels.

My daughters and I just joined and we absolutely love it! You can feel the Aloha and everyone has been very welcoming. The coaches are great and my daughters look forward to practice every week.

I highly recommend training with Coach Rdean and the rest of the CJJF Ohana. From the moment we joined we were treated as Family. Everyone is very welcoming, respectful and eager to help each other out. We couldn't be more happy with the progress our boys have made in such a short period of time. Our boys really love training with their CJJF Ohana.

CJJF Leeward is a Great place to learn Jiu-Jitsu fundamentals. Coach Rdean and his staff are very respectful. My kids found something they enjoy. My wife & I are happy with their services. I would recommend others to check it out for themselves.
