If you’re looking for a new gym home, you honestly need to check out R1pfitness in Waipahu. I’ve been to plenty of gyms, but the experience here is on a whole different level I’m talking Disney-level customer service. The second you walk in, the vibe just hits different. The person at the front desk didn't just check me in; they went completely above and beyond. They actually took the time to walk me through their merchandise, and you can tell they really know their stuff. It wasn't a sales pitch; it was a conversation. They made me feel like family before I even broke a sweat. Speaking of the merch their workout gear is easily the best in the game. Honestly, my David and Goliath shirt is my favorite shirt I own. The quality is premium, and the fit is perfect for a heavy lift or just hanging out. It’s the kind of gear that actually makes you feel motivated the second you put it on.

This gym is overall my favorite on the island and I’ve tried them all! The community that the owners Hip and Val have built are unmatched. You’ll feel welcome the moment you step into the gym. Not the mention the merch is so high quality and some of my favorite pieces. I’ll recommend this gym to anyone looking for a place to workout wether visiting or living here!

Been to R1P a few times now and it’s the perfect gym for focusing on your workouts, clean, and has quality equipment and treadmills. Best part is the local feel without the hassles of chain gyms. Definitely give it a try if you haven’t been there 👍🏽

It might seem unusual to see such high ratings for a gym, but in this case, they’re completely deserved. I started following R1P Fitness on IG a few years back because of some of their anime themed clothing merch, and over the summer I finally got the chance to visit while I was in Hawaii. I have to say it was more than just a workout, it was an experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, whether you were there to train or just browse the merch. The whole place gives off an energy that’s hard to describe it’s like stepping into the physical manifestation of someone’s dream. You can feel the passion and purpose behind it. This isn’t your average gym. It’s a space that inspires you, lifts your mood, and makes you actually want to work out after a long day. I couldn’t recommend R1P Fitness enough it’s truly something special!
