Genesis Martial Arts, formerly Gracie United Alexandria, is the oldest established BJJ academy in Central Louisiana. The owner and head instructor, Clint, was Central Louisiana’s first black belt and as such, provides a quality and welcoming atmosphere for everyone, from the family man/woman hobbyist to the avid competitor. All are welcome here! It’s the best place to train in Central Louisiana! Don’t accept anything better than the best and most experienced black belt in Cenla!

I’ve gone to Alexandria several times for work. Brought my ago and hoped to find a BJJ gym and ended up with an extended family. Coach Clint and his students were always inviting, helpful and a blast to train with. I’ll be back in Alexandria and can’t wait to see these folks again. -Tron

Training BJJ with Professor Clint and the other professors/coaches is one of the best decisions I have made in years. Plus, you meet a great group of people that welcome you into the gym. I highly recommend it for anyone.

The Gracie United gym in Alexandria is the single best thing I have done for myself in years. It has the best Professor and coaches in central La. I would recommend anyone starting or even experienced people moving to the area to start at the best gym.

If you are looking for a new challenge then this gym is for you! The instructor has a vast knowledge of Brazilian JiuJitsu and teaches in a way that all ages can understand, learn and apply. The other students are welcoming and helpful as well. This gym is like a family!
