Great dojo. My son started the Junior Judo program a few months ago, and I signed up for the adult class shortly after. Sensei James Wall and the other instructors are very experienced, courteous, and kind. They truly care about their students and it shows. I have participated in a few different martial arts in the past, and I enjoy the Judo classes at Wall To Wall Martial Arts the most, by far! Highly recommended! EDIT: Approximately 3-4 years later, I have been consistently attending the adult Judo classes (along with the occasional BJJ class or open mat). I currently have a 2nd degree brown belt in Judo, and a black belt is within my reach, assuming I keep it up for another 2 years or so. After that, the plan is to switch to BJJ (which is also offered here) to further supplement my training. I enjoy helping to teach the kids' Judo classes, and I think Judo and BJJ are great activities for any child (or teen or adult) who is looking to benefit from the physical and mental aspects of "the Gentle Way/Art". It has made a tangible difference in my family, and I hope that others can experience the same benefits. EDIT 2: at this point, between me and my 2 kids, we have a little over 13 years combined at Wall To Wall Martial Arts. My recommendation remains as strong as ever for this place as well as the people involved.
This is exactly what I was looking for for my 9 yr old daughter. They teach actual self defense and it's not just for show the way others are. My daughter absolutely loves Wall to Wall!!! I have also noticed a change in her home behavior and showing much more respect for her self and others. I most definitely recommend Wall to Wall jiu Jitsu! They are AWESOME!!!
My son has been a member of Wall to Wall for the last five years. The level of patience and love they show for their students is amazing. The programs that they offer are awesome not only for young children but adults looking to try something new. The level of concern that the Wall family has outside of the dojo for their students proves that they genuinely care about not only their business but about their "Dojo Family" as well.
Our whole entire family goes here and we love it! Our kids have grown so much coming here and they love learning Judo. My husband and I do the jiujitsu classes and it has been a great workout for us as a couple and a fun martial art. The teachers do a great job at instruction.
Great group of people who I'm proud are mentors to my son. Not only does this school teach the fundamental values of Judo but they make it fun for the kids. Here we're not just parents and children learning, we are a family and I'm proud to be a part of it.
