As a newbie, I wasn't sure what to expect, but everyone was very welcoming and encouraging. They safely showed me the dos and do-nots to safely and respectfully train BJJ. It's hard work, but rewarding, and the whole group wants you to succeed and become your best. 5/5, will keep training here.

Danzig MMA Gym is an awesome place to train! The instructors are super knowledgeable and really care about helping you improve, no matter your skill level. The classes are tough but amazing, and there's a great sense of community among the members. Whether you're looking to compete or just get in shape, Danzig MMA Gym is the place to be.

Danzig MMA is truly a special place. Whether you are new to the sport or an experienced practitioner, this is the place to go for MMA, Boxing, Muay Thai, and BJJ in Bend, OR.  Mac & Angie are in the gym every day practicing what they preach right alongside their students. They are battle-tested warriors who still compete while remaining humble and approachable. Their vast knowledge of techniques (which they learned from the best) are explained in a way that is palatable and applicable for practitioners ranging from inexperienced to advanced.  And if you decide to compete, you'll have someone in your corner who's calm and confident in a fight scenario due to the many times they've both entered the ring. You'll be delighted if you become a member of this gym.

I have been training at Danzig MMA for a year now. I entered with great trepidation as I am not an athlete and a bit older. What a great place! Mac and Angela have a ton of technical experience and are happy to teach it. Whether you are beginner or already a ninja Danzig MMA is a great place to train. Mac and Angela have done a great job of building a community of students eager to learn without a lot of ego you may find elsewhere. Definitely check it out!

It is very rare to find such a high level coach who is willing to work one on one with all skill levels, take advantage of this opportunity that is being given. Mac is an MMA legend and one of the most knowledgeable coaches in the game. I’ve had a lot of coaches in my life so far and I can honestly say Mac is the highest level, yet most down to earth, friendly and welcoming coach I have ever had. Whether you’re a beginner on your first day, or a pro, Danzig MMA will welcome you all the same. You won’t find a better coach in Oregon, Mac is top of the line.
