Rising Sun Karate School is an amazing place to train and learn discipline. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the instructors truly care about the growth and development of every student. A special thank you to Sensei Jay, who does an incredible job teaching not only karate techniques but also respect, confidence, and perseverance. You can tell that Sensei Jay is passionate about what he does and takes the time to make sure each student understands and improves. Whether you’re a beginner or more experienced, Rising Sun Karate School is a great environment to build skills, stay active, and be part of a supportive community. Highly recommend this school to anyone looking to learn martial arts and grow both physically and mentally. 🥋🌅

We LOVE RSK. From the classes, the energy, the curriculum, but most importantly, the instructors. All the instructors, from the Sensais to the Kyoshis, know our kids and make sure to engage with them, even when they aren’t in an active class. The classes themselves are structured to keep kids engaged, informed, and having fun. You can tell the instructors enjoy what they do, and that makes all the difference. They are mindful of safety, keep the focus on self-defense, and every class ends with motivational reminders about respect and responsibility. We genuinely recommend RSK to our friends, and many have joined and found their place here, too. Thanks to the efforts of Kyoshi’s Jordon & Samual, Renshi Caitlin, Master G, and Sensai’s Shae, Andrew, and Shane and many others for making this Dojo special. They’re truly a wonderful group of individuals. If you’re looking for a karate school that practices what they preach with a focus on self-defense, this is the school for you.

I absolutely love Rising Sun Karate! My daughter has been going for 6 months and she is so proud of her accomplishments! The instructors teach skills, discipline, coordination, respect, kindness, etc. My child has continued to grow in these traits and blossom in her skills and levels! I have been so impressed with the instructors and they are very nice and always willing to answer our questions. I highly recommend Rising Sun Karate for kids and adults!

I just recently paid a visit while I out of town For a business trip here in Houston. and I have to say, it only encourages me to one day move out here to join the dojo. I grew up watching Power Rangers, I loved Jason David Frank, and when I did some research this was his dojo nearby my hotel, I was locked in to try it out. The Instructers here are some of the most amazing people you'll ever meet. They're professional, patient, kind, and very knowledgeable of the martial art they teach. They know exactly what they're doing. Thank you Rising Sun allowing me to train with you for a day. This was truly a blessing to me to visit here.

Enrolling my daughter at Rising Sun Karate has been an incredible decision! She's gaining so much confidence and learning invaluable self-defense skills! The prices are fantastic, and the instructors are absolutely amazing! If you're searching for a place that truly meets your children's needs, you need to check them out!
