BEST MARTIAL ARTS STUDIO BY FAR!!! I joined Maximum probably about four and a half years ago I was extremely shy, quiet, and had little to no strength. But Maximum has helped me with everything I’ve gone through threw out my life. Maximum gave me self-confidence and lots of useful skills I am going to use throughout my life. Every one of the instructors are great with adults and children alike it doesn’t matter your age. The instructors have helped me through everything they are not just there for you during class they are there for you all of the time! I have been working very hard over the past couple years am so excited I get my black belt in March of 2026! I 100% recommend this place for EVERYBODY it does not matter your age or strength!
Thank you for your wonderful review Aly. We are honored for the opportunity to serve our community.
Maximum Martial Arts has been a wonderful experience for our child. Instructors strike a nice balance between keeping things fun while teaching discipline and skills. It's a supportive, encouraging environment that motivates students to perform at their best.
Thank you Michel for your ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review! We are grateful to serve your family and the families of our wonderful community. We love every opportunity we are given to be able to work with the positive development of our youth.
Our son has been going to Maximum for nearly four years and he loves it! The instructors are phenomenal, and the atmosphere is welcoming and inclusive. The studio is always clean and the equipment is in good condition.
Thanks Ben for your wonderful review. We are grateful for the trust you have in us for the past 4 years and for the opportunity to serve you and your family.
My three kids and I have been training at Maximum for about four years and we’ve experienced most of their programs—Lil’ Dragons, juniors beginners, juniors advanced, adult martial arts, and kickboxing. Three of us will test for our black belts in September, so clearly we’re committed and biased. But my goals for this review are to 1. Brag on Team Maximum, and 2. Help you determine if Maximum is a good fit for you and your family. The curriculum at Maximum isn’t steeped in any one tradition. Instead, members get a broad foundation in both grappling and striking—sport and self-defense. In a typical class, participants might work flexibility, review technique, sweat it out on the bag, do partner combo mitt work, play out self-defense scenarios, and spar. There is a strong influence from Bill Superfoot Wallace, the undefeated kickboxing champ who leads a seminar at Maximum once a year, but generally I’d categorize what we do as modern mixed martial arts. That being said, in the kids’ program an appropriate amount of time is allocated to teaching values like respect, discipline, and courage. Another more traditional aspect of the culture is the junior assistant program that one of my sons participates in. Once a month one of the staff gives these tweens and teens practical training on topics like pad-holding, how to make a praise-correct-praise sandwich, and the importance of using students’ names. It’s very very cool to see my son learn teaching skills and get the kickback of helping others grow, and he looks forward to assisting the instructors in his Lil’ Dragons class every week. Overall, Maximum excels in creating an environment where students feel supported and challenged, and it’s my impression that everyone, staff, students, and parents, feels ownership of the community. I know I do. Shout out to Master Ginter, Master Dylan, Ms. Jocelyn, Ms. Nicole, and all the assistants. See you in class Wednesday!
Wow! Thanks for the wonderful (and in depth) review Carly. I'm sure it will be helpful to those that read it. So, glad you and your family have received a positive experience at Maximum Martial Arts. Grateful to be of service to you and your family.
Maximum took me by surprise with a warm welcome and professionalism. As soon as we signed up online for their free trial, we were welcomed by Jocelyn with a folder of information and free waterbottles. She gave us a tour and even had the kids break a board by the end of their first class. Maximum's instructors continue to be professional, caring, and go out of their way to assist the kids that need a little extra help. The extra curricular events they offer are just the cherry on top. I am extremely impressed by this facility. It is clear they have clear and smooth running systems and processes in place. This is the place to take your children! Couldn't recommend it enough!
🙏Thank you Haley for your wonderful review. We take pride in our systems and team training. Providing an amazing experience for our members has always been our priority. On behalf of the team and I, we are grateful that you and your family are happy with our facility, curriculum and instruction 😊
