Just don’t. There is a reason Lexington Athletic Club has a low rating. Not a friendly staff, After 8 months of not saying anything, out of the blue, they singled me out snd wouldn’t let my son sit in lobby while I exercised,. Pretty rude and unprofessional about it. Let other people in and singled me out. Blamed it on me when I had no idea how this was a problem. I asked the desk if this was ok and they said no problem. Management Charge $for grandparents to watch kids do their swim lesson, people at front desk do not. Jacuzzi is always broke. Steam room smells like cleaning chemicals. Sauana is always crowded. CrossFit room gets taken by group classes who can’t share areas they aren’t even using lol. I went to a new gym and staff plays ping pong and has fun with son while I work out. Completely different vibes. Isee why people give low ratings. Lot of other options. People at front desk don’t inform you that your have to pay $ for your child to sit in a chair, while you work out for an hour. So, you maybe able to watch grand kids do swim lessons without paying $. Or you may be able to have your child wait in the waiting area while you exercise, because front desk doesn’t care. But, beware management will enforce their own arbitrary rules when they feel like it. They should really do a better job of informing you earlier at sign up in loud bold writing that they are going to charge everybody who walks through the door lol. Or perhaps, they should stare out the window with binoculars all day, so that they can get money out of every single person that comes in and watches swim lessons lol they are already making hand over fist. Watching them cover their bases and change stories is not fun. All the empty tables and chairs upstairs sends a wrong impression. Place is a joke, make believe contract, they will want you to close contract in person, not over the phone, this way they hope you don’t come in to close and they can get away with charging you another month, it’s obvious they are this petty when charging $ for grandparents to watch their grandkids take swimming lessons. You can tell the people who work here hate it. Different vibe at other gyms.

Have dropped in twice while in town. This is one of the best gyms I've been to around the world. If you're any type of strength athlete, they have all the equipment you could ever want. Staff has been friendly, locker room has been clean, and the environment is excellent.

The basketball court hasn’t been resurfaced in years even though dozens of people play on it everyday. It’s like a slip and slide when running on the court. I wish the owner would put all of the fees they charge to good use by being more concerned about the safety and quality of the gym equipment especially the basketball floor and out of date equipment.

Women are not safe there. A Hispanic male trainer frequently verbally harasses women and the management does nothing. They care more about the money from his clients than they do the wellbeing of regular clientele.

I have been coming to this gym almost every day for years and I feel like it’s been going downhill for a while now. The equipment is solid but it doesn’t really matter much since it’s extremely overcrowded most of the time. Sauna and steam room are way too small for a gym this size and they are usually full, steam room is out of order pretty frequently and some days they don’t get very hot. Men’s showers, steam room, and sauna aren’t very clean and they just don’t smell good. Some people get in to the hot tub drenched in sweat and it’s just disgusting. The hours this gym has are one of the main things I just hate, Friday they close at 9, Saturday 7, Sunday 8, I will never understand why they close so early these days. For the people that have to work or have things to do these days the hours are just infuriating. I wish they would make this gym 24/7 but I’m sure that’s never going to happen but at the very least close at 11 p.m. EVERY DAY. I’ve seen many reviews complaining about the contracts and the cancellation process hopefully it goes smoothly whenever I decide to cancel my membership which I think will be soon…..
